Job summary

American Senior Communities is seeking an Assistant Manager of Therapy (AMOT) to support the director of therapy across PT, OT, and SLP services. You will help lead staff development, foster teamwork, and ensure efficient, high‑quality therapy across the unit.

You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, promote CARE values, and contribute to delivering exceptional senior care. This on‑site role emphasizes leadership, resident advocacy, and program continuity.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in Indiana.
• Strong passion for geriatric advocacy and senior care excellence.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to residents, families, customers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the director of therapy overseeing rehabilitation services (PT, OT, SLP).
• Provide leadership in staff development and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Communicate to the director when therapy services are delivered efficiently and effectively.
• Promote collaboration among departments and regulatory agencies.
