Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service, healthcare, or medical office preferred.
• Leadership ability and team development experience preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance requirements and medical terminology preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA and patient confidentiality awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and hold the Therapy Scheduling team accountable for productivity, quality, and service goals.
• Provide ongoing training, feedback, recognition, and performance coaching to team members.
• Monitor scheduling volume, queues, and staffing to ensure appropriate workload distribution.
• Schedule therapy evaluations and appointments based on physician recommendations, insurance requirements, clinic needs, patient condition, and patient preferences.
• Serve as escalation point for complex scheduling concerns and patient issues.
• Provide backup scheduling support during high-volume periods and staffing needs.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of scheduling team members.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies; protect patient confidentiality.
