Job summary

MPOWER Physical Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapy Scheduler Specialist to join our team. This full-time role includes in-person training at our Midtown Nashville location with potential remote work after successful completion of training (up to 90 days). The position runs Monday–Friday and requires living in Tennessee or relocating to Tennessee.

You will schedule evaluations, coordinate with physicians, update EMRs, and ensure smooth patient experiences while meeting productivity goals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is preferred.
• Training or experience in a fitness center, therapy clinic, or orthopedic clinic is preferred.
• Excellent follow up skills with patients, clients and fellow team members.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and team members.
• Promptly answer incoming calls, voicemails, and emails.
• Schedule Physical Therapy evaluations and help patients choose the appropriate MPOWER clinic based on insurance, physician recommendations, patient needs, clinic availability, and patient preference.
• Update physician clinic teams and electronic medical records with evaluation dates and clinic locations.
• Manage daily incoming calls through the Therapy Scheduling phone queue.
• Support other Therapy Scheduling team members after completing primary responsibilities.
