Job summary

Varco Hospice is seeking a diligent Therapy Coordinator to join our Houston-based team. You will coordinate therapy services, schedule patient visits, and liaise with therapists and physicians to ensure timely documentation and excellent patient care.

In this full-time, on-site role, you will manage daily schedules for physical, occupational, and speech therapies, maintain EMR records, and support admissions and scheduling while delivering outstanding service to patients and healthcare partners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in healthcare scheduling or coordination preferred.
• Home health experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR systems.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily schedules for Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists
• Communicate with clinicians and patients
• Monitor therapy documentation for accuracy and compliance
• Assist with patient admissions and scheduling
• Maintain accurate records within the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Resolve scheduling conflicts and coordinate staffing needs
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare partners
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned
