Description:This is a contracted position for a Respiratory Therapist.The shift is from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.The unit has 205 beds and a staff of 35 total.The staffing includes one charge therapist during day shifts and five therapists covering the ER, ICU, and floors.Night shift patient ratios are not applicable.The equipment utilized includes PB 980 and 840 ventilators, Bipap V-60, and Siemens ABG instruments.The EMR system in use is Meditech.Permanent positions may be available on the unit.Typical procedures performed include ventilator and Bipap management, aerosol therapies, CPT, and oxygen therapy.The ideal candidate should be a team player.Dress code requires a sage top and black pants.The unit boasts a 0% annual turnover rate due to strong teamwork.
