Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Therapy - RRT on a 13-week assignment in Libertyville, IL. The role requires a 12-hour night shift with a 1:1 patient ratio and full pediatric-to-geriatric respiratory care expertise. EPIC charting is used for documentation.

Active nursing license and BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP along with RRT or CRT certification are mandatory. Travel may require floating to other hospitals and interfacing with critical care teams.

License: Active license required

Certifications: Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and RRT (CRT also accepted)

Must-Have:

• Experience with neonatal and pediatrics is a must.
• EPIC experience is required.

Description:Candidate must have at least 2 years of experience with the full lifespan of patients, including pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.Experience with neonatal and pediatrics is required.An active nursing license is mandatory.The candidate must possess active BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and either RRT or CRT certifications.Experience with tracheostomies, nitrous oxide procedures, proning techniques, critical care, and ventilator-associated pneumonia prevention is essential.Skills in conducting spontaneous breathing trials and arterial blood gas draws are required.Experience in caring for neonates to geriatric respiratory patients is expected.Candidates will work a patient ratio of 1:1.There will be support from a supervisor on the unit.Charting will be completed using the EPIC system.Ventilators such as PB840, 980, Servo-U, and Hamilton will be utilized.CPAP/BiPAP equipment includes V60s, ResMed, and RemStar.Other equipment includes Optiflow and transport ventilators.Candidates may be required to float to other hospitals based on contracts.Scheduling includes 12-hour shifts with weekend rotation every other week.Holiday work will be based on operational needs.Scrub color required is charcoal gray.There is a provision for free parking.
