Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a staff of 21 including 6 therapists and a day supervisor, plus other shifts

Description:This position is within a respiratory therapy unit.The unit is equipped with 290 beds.The staff consists of 21 members, with 6 therapists and a supervisor on the day shift, and 4 therapists on the night shift.Patient ratios will vary based on patient needs.Common procedures performed include nebulizer treatments, arterial blood gas sampling, assistance in intubations, and participation in rapid response teams.Candidates must be team players who thrive in a busy environment.Successful candidates will have experience with ventilators and may be familiar with electronic medical records.The unit aims to attract skilled professionals who are committed to providing high-quality patient care.Travelers are expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with permanent staff.
