Cynet Health is seeking a Respiratory Care Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week night shift position in Wisconsin. The role focuses on oxygen therapy, ventilator management, and critical care across diverse patient populations in ED, ICU, and step-down units.

The therapist will work 12-hour nights, handling neonates to adults and coordinating with the care team to ensure safe patient ventilation and airway management.

Description:Respiratory therapist to provide oxygen therapy and ventilator management.Responsible for administering breathing treatments, bedside pulmonary function tests, and arterial blood gases.Will provide care for neonates, adults, and pediatric patients in various settings including emergency department, intensive care unit, and stepdown units.Experience with critical care, medical surgical, and nursery patients is essential.Skills include intubation assistance, nasal and oral airway placement, tracheostomy care, sputum specimen collection, and troubleshooting high-pressure alarms.Must be familiar with various equipment such as filters, high flow nasal cannula, BiPAP, CPAP, and ventilators.Must demonstrate ability to effectively wean patients from mechanical ventilation.Candidates should possess strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Interdisciplinary support and interpretation services may be available in the unit.Additional responsibilities may include bedside bronchoscopies and analysis of pulmonary function tests.This position requires flexibility and a commitment to patient care in a diverse patient population.
