Job summary

Cynet Health is hiring a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week assignment on the night shift in our Texas facility. The unit includes ICU and ED patients with 20 beds, using Avea, V60, Airvo and Radiometer ABL90 equipment, and Meditech for records.

The ideal candidate will hold an RRT license, BLS and ACLS (PALS preferred), with at least 1 year of experience. Weekend shifts are common, and floating to other areas may be required on occasion.

Qualifications

• RRT license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in respiratory care.
• Ideal candidates have ICU and ED background.
• Night shift availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine respiratory care in ICU/ED settings.
• Operate ventilators and related equipment.
• Monitor patients and adjust therapies per protocols.
• Collaborate with night-shift team and float as needed.

Description:Unit information includes a total of 20 beds and a staff consisting of 1 charge therapist and 1-2 therapists on the night shift.Patient ratios vary depending on the current count.Commonly used equipment includes Avea, V60, Airvo, and Radiometer ABL90.The electronic medical record system in use is Meditech.The primary focus is on routine respiratory care.Candidates must possess the required certifications of BLS and ACLS.Floating may be required to other areas as needed.The dress code consists of black scrubs.Weekend shifts are expected every other weekend, with no on-call requirements.Ideal candidates will have the preferred background of ICU and ED experience.
