Job summary

The Cynet Health Therapy team in Michigan seeks a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week assignment. Under supervision, you will deliver life-support and gas therapies to ICU and general units, performing invasive and non-invasive procedures and ensuring accurate patient care and billing documentation.

Must-have: 2+ years of experience, AS degree in respiratory therapy, NBRC, NRP, and BLS certifications. Proficiency with PB 980 and EV300 NIV ventilators and ABL blood gas analyzers preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience.
• Associate of Science degree in respiratory therapy.
• NBRC, NRP, and BLS certifications must be current.
• Current state RT licensure.

Description:Under general supervision of the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor, the Respiratory Therapist delivers life-support, resuscitation, monitoring, and various medical gases therapy to patients.The therapist performs invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures for Intensive Care and General Practice Unit patients.Maintains clinical expertise for departmental assignments as needed.Effectively communicates with patients, co-workers, physicians, and other system employees regarding patient care needs.Documents all aspects of patient care accurately.Supervises, directs, and delegates to other Respiratory Therapists and students as assigned.Completes necessary and accurate patient billing information.

Preferred:Experience with PB 980 and/or EV300 NIV ventilator.Experience with ABL blood gas analyzer.Special care nursery experience.
