Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week assignment in Phoenix, AZ. The role requires hands-on bronchoscopy assistance and proficiency with multiple ventilators, BiPAP, and CPAP systems.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of ICU experience, current state RT license, and NBRC RRT certification with BLS and ACLS. Cerner experience is preferred; shift is 12-hour days with on-call considerations and weekend rotations.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapy procedures and treatments.
• Handle 35-40 procedures per day.
• Work with adult or NICU patients per certification.
• Manage all ventilators, BiPAP, V60, and CPAP.
• Lead on duty each shift and ensure protocols are followed.
• Participate in Clinical Response Team calls.
• Conduct arterial blood gas analyses.
• Demonstrate time management and communication skills.
• Work includes every other weekend or 4 weekends per month.

Must be able to assist with bronchoscopy procedures. Must be proficient with at least one of the following: Servo I, Jets, Oscillators. Must have 2 years of strong ICU experience and prefer NICU experience. Must have certification in ACLS. Cerner experience is needed.

Description: Responsible for performing respiratory therapy procedures and treatments. Handle 35-40 procedures (RVUs) per day. Work with adult only or combined adult and NICU patients as per certification. Must manage all ventilators, BiPAP, V60, and CPAP. Lead on duty every shift, ensuring protocols are followed. Participate in Clinical Response Team calls. Responsible for conducting all arterial blood gas (ABG) analyses. Demonstrate excellent time management and communication skills. Team player with the ability to function in a high acuity environment. Work includes every other weekend or 4 weekend shifts per month. Participate in holiday rotations as required. Required to wear black scrubs during shifts. Cancellation policy allows for shift cancellations where applicable.
