Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in a fast-paced department. The therapist will deliver respiratory care to a diverse patient population and operate ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, high-flow oxygen, and blood gas analyzers.

Experience in ED and Critical Care is preferred, with an Associate Degree in Respiratory Care and NC RRT license expected. Night shifts run from 19:00 to 07:00, with a 36-hour shift pattern.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Care is required.
• NC RRT license/registry required to practice.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred; ED/CCU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Description:The Respiratory Therapist will work in a fast-paced environment, providing respiratory care to patients.The position requires functioning effectively within a team as well as independently.Candidates should have experience with ventilators, BiPAPs, CPAPs, high flow oxygen, and blood gas analyzers.A full range of patients will be encountered, including geriatric, adult, and pediatric populations.The therapist is expected to contribute to a high-retention department and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.An Associate Degree in Respiratory Care is required.Preferred scrub colors are gray or black, but any solid color is acceptable.No printed scrubs are allowed.
