Job summary

Westminster Communities of Florida is seeking a Director of Therapy to lead the Rehab Program across our Bradenton community. You will supervise therapy staff, plan clinically, and advance operations to ensure high-quality resident care in a Life Plan Community setting.

The role emphasizes strategic budgeting, Medicare compliance, and collaboration with care planning, QA, and risk management teams to optimize outcomes and sustain financial performance.

Qualifications

• APTA or AOTA accredited program required.
• Current licensure by the Board of Allied Professions; licensed or eligible in relevant states.
• Three to five years of clinical experience; one to two years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the therapy staff and manage departmental goals.
• Strategic planning and budget adherence for the rehab department.
• Monitor Medicare criteria and ensure proper billing practices.
• Participate in Care Plan, Quality Assurance, Risk and Stand-up meetings.
• Oversee scheduling of treatments and maintain productivity.
• Audit and verify therapy documentation for compliance.
