East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust is recruiting a Therapy Radiographer to join the Radiotherapy Department at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre, Northwood ( Middlesex). The role involves unsupervised work, supervising juniors, and carrying out complex radiotherapy procedures on treatment and pre-treatment units.

You will assess treatment progress, manage side effects, and refer to the MDT when needed, while supporting patients with information and aftercare. CPD activity is expected.

Responsabilités

• Carry out complex technical radiotherapeutic procedures on all treatment and pre-treatment units on a rotational basis.
• Assess patients' response to treatment and side effects and refer to the MDT as appropriate.
• Supervise junior staff, students and assistants as an unsupervised worker.
• Provide information and refer to support services; assist with informed consent where needed.
• Guide, instruct and support patients receiving radiotherapy and advise on aftercare.
