The Hillingdon Hospital is seeking a Band 6 Radiographer with cross-sectional imaging experience in CT and MRI to join its Radiology Department across Hillingdon Hospital and Mount Vernon Hospital. Qualifications

• Band 6 radiographer with CT/MRI experience.
• Opportunities for advanced practice in CT and MRI services.

Responsibilities

• Act in a supervisory role and advise junior staff; perform formal assessment of radiographic students and assist in education.
• Deputise for the Modality Lead Radiographer when necessary.
• Manage workload in your area to ensure steady patient flow and staff breaks; operate imaging equipment and related devices.
• Work unaided in the department; teach others to use equipment and adapt radiographic techniques for complicated cases.
• Monitor radiography standards and take remedial action as needed.
• Report and record equipment failures; assist in equipment selection; pursue CPD to align with CoR guidelines.
