Description:Position available in an inpatient rehabilitation unit.Expected hours will be Tuesday to Saturday from 08:00 to 16:30.Travelers must comply with an attendance policy; missing more than two shifts in a 13-week contract without reasonable explanation may lead to contract review and cancellation.Assignments may require floating to acute care.Candidates must be willing to float as needed.All requested time off (RTO) must be included in the initial submission; RTO requested after submission will not be considered.Candidates will undergo pass/fail testing on the first day of orientation.Testing will include Cardiac Dysrhythmia and Moderate Sedation assessments.Experience in acute care, outpatient clinic, rehabilitation hospital, skilled nursing facility, and managing a range of patient diagnoses is essential.Skills required include assessment, therapy techniques, patient education, and the ability to use various assistive devices.Candidates should be knowledgeable in discharge planning and developing treatment plans for a diverse patient population.Patient age groups will include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.Daily census of patients will typically be around 10.
