Job summary

HealthPro Heritage seeks a full-time Program Manager - Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist in Hawthorne, NJ. The role leads clinical staff, ensures quality therapy services, and drives program growth.

Licensure as a PT or OT is required, with 3–5 years of rehab experience and supervisory background. Therapy is provided M-F with no evenings or weekends, across facilities including nursing, retirement communities, hospitals, and home care.

Qualifications

• Degree in the required discipline (Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist)
• Valid state licensure as a PT/OT or license eligible
• 3–5 years of clinical experience in rehabilitation or related healthcare field
• Supervisory or management experience preferred in rehab therapy
• Leadership and team management abilities
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid)

Responsibilities

• Directly manage and supervise clinical therapy staff, including hiring and performance appraisals
• Monitor personnel credentials and develop corrective action plans as needed
• Maintain a clinical caseload and ensure high-quality therapy services
• Lead program development and growth initiatives, including marketing collaborations
• Oversee scheduling to ensure adequate coverage and effective resource use
• Investigate and resolve issues and provide staff education and training
• Ensure compliance with infection control, OSHA, and safety standards
