Job summary

HealthPro Heritage in Harrison, NY seeks a Program Manager – Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist to lead an assisted living therapy program.

You will directly supervise clinical staff, ensure regulatory compliance, grow the program through outreach to hospitals and physicians, and manage scheduling and documentation.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in the required discipline (Physical Therapist).
• Licensure: Valid state licensure as PT/OT/SLP and/or PTA/COTA, or license eligible.
• At least 3–5 years of clinical experience in rehabilitation or related healthcare field.
• Supervisory/management experience in healthcare preferred, ideally in rehab therapy.
• Leadership & Team Management: ability to lead and manage a multidisciplinary team.
• Clinical Knowledge: understanding of rehabilitation principles and patient care protocols.
• Communication: excellent written and verbal communication.
• Problem-Solving: effective decision-making and critical thinking.
• Organizational Skills: manage schedules, resources, and budgets.
• Compliance Knowledge: familiarity with HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid, and related laws.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Management: direct supervise clinical therapy staff, hire, appraise, and foster team atmosphere.
• Clinical Oversight & Quality Assurance: maintain a clinical caseload and ensure high-quality services per regulatory standards.
• Program Development & Growth: develop strategies to expand therapy programs and lead marketing efforts.
• Operational Management: oversee scheduling and ensure proper documentation per guidelines.
• Problem Resolution & Staff Support: investigate and resolve issues with open communication.
• Compliance & Safety: stay updated on laws and ensure safe environment and infection control.
