OSI Physical Therapy is seeking a Therapy Patient Services Representative to support patient registration, check-in, and clinical support duties. Two full-time roles exist in MN; one in West St. Paul and a float position with varied early morning shifts.

The role requires greeting patients, collecting payments, verifying insurance, scheduling in the system, and handling switchboard duties. Prior customer service and medical office experience are preferred; comprehensive benefits are available.

Responsibilities

Therapy Patient Services Representative - OSI Physical Therapy

The Patient Services Representative is responsible for patient registration and check in as well as clinical support duties.

We have two full-time positions available. One is located in West St. Paul, working Monday 7:45 AM - 5:15 PM, Tuesday - Thursday 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM, and Friday 7:15 AM - 11:15 AM. The second is a full-time Float position, working Monday - Thursday 6:45 AM - 4:15 PM and Friday 6:45 AM - 10:45 AM.

OSI is a physical therapy brand within the Therapy Department of TCO, the Orthopedic Division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health)., a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.

Essential Functions:

• Greet and register patients; collect co-payments, pre-payments, insurance information, and photo ID
• Verify and document insurance information as defined by current business practices
• Accurate and timely scheduling of new and existing patients in the current practice management system
• Communicate all pertinent information to patients, including: appointment information, directions, check-in times, referral information and copayments
• Chart preparation and management
• Maintain a working knowledge of health care plan requirements and health plan networks
• Maintain timely communication with patients, families, and staff
• Rotation of Switchboard Operator duties which include: accepting, handling and transferring calls, coordination of interpreters for clinic appointments, and coordination of patient referrals
• Any and all other duties as assigned such as cleaning, laundry, rooming patients, prepping patients for appointments, etc.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Customer Service experience required
• Administrative or Medical Office experience preferred
