Description:Centered in the heart of a vibrant community, this role is focused on providing essential occupational therapy services.The position involves planning and conducting segments of treatment programs designed to restore and improve physical, social, and mental functions.The therapist will serve as a co-leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient groups.Responsibilities include completing evaluations to ensure quality standards and addressing areas that require attention.Appropriate clinical techniques and tools will be utilized to establish individualized treatment plans for patients.Therapy interventions will be provided using suitable treatment protocols and techniques.Individualized care and discharge plans will be established and communicated to the appropriate parties.Comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation must be completed within established deadlines.Supervision of assigned assistants will also be a part of the responsibilities.Additional job-related duties may be assigned.Commitment to safety and wellbeing is essential, and all associates must receive required vaccinations as a condition of employment.Special equipment, including an Arjo lift, is available for use.An electronic medical record system is being transitioned to a new platform.The staff works seven days a week, with specific scheduling preferences for weekends to meet staffing needs.A cafeteria is on‑site for employee convenience.Department training will be provided during the first week following hospital orientation.
