Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Administer treatment programs established by the Occupational Therapist.
• Assist in obtaining vital signs, range of motion, and strength testing.
• Coordinate with the rehabilitation team to implement activities and programs tailored to participants' individual treatment plans.
• Handling scheduling for treatment and clinical visits.
• Documenting occupational therapy interventions in accordance with established care plans.
• Providing training and instructions to staff, participants, and caregivers in the use and care of therapeutic equipment.
• Tracking and managing maintenance for therapeutic equipment.
• Remaining attentive to input from team members, participants, and caregivers, and updating the Occupational Therapist promptly regarding changes in condition or functional status.
• Participating in end-of-life care coordination and support under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
• Completing all required documentation in a timely and accurate manner while protecting privacy and maintaining confidentiality.
• Following established policies and procedures while participating in quality improvement activities, staff training, and meetings.
• Communicating regularly with supervisors and team members regarding workload and priorities.
• Exercising flexibility in performing assignments as business needs evolve.
• Additional duties may be assigned as required.
