Job summary

MedStar Health’s Washington Hospital Center is seeking a Clinic Assistant (Therapy/Rehabilitation Technician) to support daily operations with clerical and patient care tasks, greet and escort patients, prepare treatment spaces, and assist therapists as needed. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED; CPR certification within 90 days; and strong teamwork, organization and communication skills.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
• CPR certification required within 90 days.

• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist with medical record operations daily.
• Greet patients, register and escort; prepare treatment rooms.
• Assist therapists with prescribed treatment sessions.
• Routinely stock linen cabinets and maintain supplies.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and storage areas; report issues.
• Provide administrative support and schedule coordination.
