Job summary

MedStar Health’s Washington Hospital Center seeks a Rehabilitation Technician to support daily patient care and clerical tasks. You will greet patients, set up treatment areas, and assist therapists with prescribed exercises and ADLs.

Responsibilities include maintaining schedules, stocking supplies, and ensuring clean, organized spaces. A High School Diploma or GED is required, with CPR certification within 90 days and 6 months related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients, register and escort as needed, and prepare treatment areas for evaluations.
• Assist therapists with prescribed treatment sessions and patient care activities.
• Maintain schedules, restock supplies, and ensure clean, organized treatment spaces.
• Perform administrative tasks, answer phones, and support daily clinic operations.
• Identify safety issues and escalate patient condition changes to the therapist.
• Participate in meetings and committees as requested by supervisor.
