Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking a Clinic Assistant (Therapy/Rehabilitation Technician) to support daily operations in a fast-paced clinical setting. You will assist with medical records, greet and escort patients, help with patient care setup, and support therapists during treatments.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and strong customer service, with CPR certification required within 90 days. This position requires a High School Diploma or GED and may include an adjacent certificate

Qualifications

Must have High School Diploma or GED.
1 year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
CPR certification required within 90 days (AHA or Red Cross).
Ability to work in a team; organized, detail-oriented, friendly.
Proficiency with basic office software and clerical tasks.

Responsibilities

Greets patients, informs therapist of arrival, and escorts patients.
Prepares treatment rooms and areas for evaluations and treatments.
Assists with patient treatment under therapist supervision; supports exercises and transfers.
Routinely stocks linen and maintains supplies; assists with ordering as directed.
Cleans equipment and treatment areas; reports broken items to supervisor.
Performs administrative tasks and helps schedule the next day.
Answers phones and handles routine administrative duties.
