Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking a Clinic Assistant (Therapy/ Rehabilitation Technician) to provide essential patient care and clerical support in a fast-paced clinical setting. You will greet patients, prepare treatment rooms, assist therapists, stock supplies, and handle routine administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.

Under supervision, you may assist with treatment sessions, monitor equipment, and help maintain clean, organized spaces.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; one-year certificate preferred.
• CPR certification required (AHA or Red Cross) within 90 days.
• Ability to work in a team and provide courteous patient service.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients professionally and escorts them as needed.
• Prepares treatment rooms and areas for evaluations and treatment.
• Assists with patient care under therapist direction and may cover sessions.
• Routinely stocks linen cabinets and maintains supplies.
• Cleans equipment and treatment areas after use; reports malfunctions.
• Performs administrative tasks and helps schedule the next day.
• Responds to safety issues and communicates with supervisors as needed.
• Participates in meetings and committees as requested.
