Job summary

The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics LLC is seeking a Rehab Aide to support physical and occupational therapists in patient care at our Winchester and Front Royal clinics. Under direct supervision, you will assist with treatment setup, equipment, and front desk duties as needed.

You will help maintain clinic cleanliness, manage schedules, handle patient registrations and insurance verification, and participate in staff meetings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 2+ years experience in a Physical Therapy clinic setting preferred.
• Athletic Trainer certification preferred, but not required.
• Experience with computers and electronic medical records.
• CPR Certification for Healthcare Professionals
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with team collaboration.
• Proficient in Windows-based office technologies (Word, Excel).
• Reads, writes, and speaks English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Assists therapists with treatment setup and modalities for non-Medicare patients under direct supervision.
• Cleans plinths, equipment, and surfaces to maintain clinic cleanliness.
• Adheres to varying work schedules, including early mornings, evenings, and Saturdays.
• Performs front desk duties: phone, scheduling, patient registration, and insurance verification.
• Attends monthly staff meetings or obtains a copy of the agenda if unavailable.
• Supports clinic operations across CAO locations as needed.
• Participates in Therapy team meetings and CAO events.
• Reports and assists with various duties as assigned, with professional conduct.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist in transfers as needed.
