Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Counseling or a clinical mental health field.
• Minimum of one year experience in related behavioral health hospital settings preferred.
• Handle with Care and Verbal De‑Escalation training within 30 days of appointment; CPR Certification may be obtained during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Counsel patients and provide social services to address biopsychosocial needs.
• Deliver therapeutic treatment skills to help patients achieve emotional health.
• Provide crisis intervention and information/referrals as needed.
• Act as back-up Court Liaison in Therapy Department as trained.
