Job summary

CoxHealth Rehabilitation Hospital, in partnership with Select Medical, invites applications for a Therapy Aide in Ozark, Missouri. This full-time role supports a brand-new inpatient rehabilitation hospital, with the organization offering comprehensive benefits and a structured orientation.

Responsibilities include assisting therapists, patient transfers, and equipment setup. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and BLS certification, with prior hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification or completion within 90 days of employment required.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient related tasks assigned by therapist.
• Lifts patients to/from mats, treatment, tilt tables, wheelchairs, and other equipment.
• Assists patients with transfer activities to all surfaces.
• Assists patients in donning/doffing all appliances specific to the facility/department.
• Positions patients in parallel bars and prepares patients for standing with orthotic/prosthetic devices and equipment.
• Transports patients to/from therapy as needed.
• Assists therapist with other patient related treatment activities as appropriate and providing equipment.
• Assist with patient related activities including equipment set-up and patient positioning in preparation for therapy session as outlined in the State Practice.
