Department: Ambulatory Services | Lewis Center Physical Therapy
The therapy aide assists in patient treatment on assigned rotations and provides cross coverage of the Rehabilitation division's other locations/sites (Acute, Dodd Acute Inpatient, Outpatient Clinics) as needed. Responsibilities include routine operation of the rehabilitation department, such as maintaining cleanliness, monitoring equipment and supply inventories, maintenance, and patient transportation. The aide works under the direct supervision of the Team Leader.
High School graduate or equivalent. 0 years of relevant experience required; 0-2 years preferred.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply & divide whole numbers, and read & write simple sentences. Within 6 months of hire, obtain American Heart Association Friends and Family emergency recognition or BLS certification.
Must meet mandatory education and health requirements. Demonstrates competency in technical skills, interpersonal/interdepartmental relations, and cognitive skills to perform essential job functions.
