Job summary

Covenant Health’s Fort Loudoun Medical Center seeks an Admissions Coordinator to manage admission functions for therapy center outpatient services. The role also handles billing liaison work, verifies benefits, and coordinates new admissions.

Under clinic manager supervision, you will cooperate with clinicians on processes, documentation, authorizations, and patient accounts to ensure smooth admissions and accurate records.

Qualifications

• Maintains public relations with patients, families, referral sources, and staff.
• Answers calls regarding registration, schedule, charges, and accounts.
• Collaborates with clinicians on admission processes and reimbursement issues.
• Verifies benefits and pre-certifies outpatient admissions with insurers.
• Assists in obtaining authorizations as needed.
• Tracks Medicare certifications/recertifications for physician signature.

Responsibilities
