Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking an Admissions Liaison to coordinate admissions for inpatients and outpatients, handling referrals, information verification, and scheduling with a compassionate approach. The role emphasizes timely processing, accuracy, and collaboration with clinical teams in a supportive hospital setting.

Licensure as a clinician is required, CPR certification is preferred, and prior hospital admissions experience will strengthen candidacy.

Qualifications

• One or more years in hospital admissions procedures, preferred.
• Licensure as a clinician required.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• CRRN preferred.
• Strong understanding of multidisciplinary care levels and at least one year of clinical experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate an efficient admissions process for all patients.
• Preform pre-certifications.
• Assemble Admissions consent packets.
• Maintain accurate listing of all patients in hospital.
• Receive and verify referrals, gather essential information and execute necessary procedures for scheduling and admission.
• Contribute to the referral process and input statistical data into hospital systems.
