Job summary

Meadows Behavioral Health is seeking a licensed behavioral health professional for an on-site outpatient role in Atlanta. You will assess patients, provide individual, family and group therapy, and participate in discharge planning within a multidisciplinary team.

The position requires a Masters in Behavioral Health, state licensure, CPR/First Aid and CPI certification, with a preference for 2+ years of behavioral health experience and familiarity with trauma, chemical dependency, or eating

Qualifications

Masters Degree in Behavioral Health or related field.
State licensed; if individual has a doctorate in Psychology they may function as a Therapist but must apply for a license as a Psychologist upon hire.
CPR & First Aid Certified.
CPI Certified.
Valid Drivers License.
Driver Safety Training.
Minimum of two years experience in behavioral health field preferred.
Prefer experience with Trauma, Chemical Dependency, Eating Disorders within managed care environment.

Responsibilities

Assess and facilitate care for assigned patients; participate in treatment and discharge planning.
Conduct individual, family, and group psychotherapy; share clinical information with the treatment team and other involved entities as appropriate.
Promote implementation of therapeutic milieu and daily program schedule.
Provide on-call coverage as requested.
Interact professionally and communicate effectively in English.
Coordinate with outpatient providers and family members to develop and implement care plans.
Participate in performance improvement activities.
