HealthPartners is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to collaborate with the patient care team in developing, modifying, and implementing pulmonary care plans. You will provide assessments, diagnostics, treatments, and discharge planning under physician supervision, with on-call and night shift responsibilities.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program, Minnesota RCP registration, CRT with RRT progression, and BLS; ACLS training is expected within two years.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• MN Respiratory Care Practitioner Registration (RCP) required.
• CRT credential required; must obtain RRT within 2 years of hire date.
• BLS provider and willing to become ACLS within two years of employment.

Methodist Hospital’s Respiratory Therapists are group of collaborative professionals that work in partnership with the patient care team in the development, modification, and implementation of the respiratory care plan.

The staff respiratory therapist/technician is responsible for the pulmonary care of those patients assigned to them. This care will include initiation and implementation of a pulmonary care plan, with the supervision of or in consultation with a physician. Aspects of care provided include assessments, diagnostics, treatment, education, and discharge planning.

Work schedule:

On-call/Casual, Night Shift

Required Qualifications:

Education: Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.

Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:

• MN Respiratory Care Practitioner Registration (RCP) required.
• CRT credential required, must obtain RRT within 2 years of hire date.
• Must be a BLS provider and willing to become ACLS as schedule permits within two years of employment.
