Job summary

Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital is seeking a Staff Respiratory Therapist/Technician to develop, modify, and implement pulmonary care plans with the patient care team. Responsibilities include assessments, diagnostics, treatment, education, and discharge planning under physician supervision.

On-call/casual, night shift. Requirements: MN RCP registration, CRT credential with RRT within 2 years, and BLS; ACLS training may be pursued within two years. Competitive benefits included.

• CRT credential required; must obtain RRT within 2 years of hire date.

Job description

Methodist Hospital's Respiratory Therapists are group of collaborative professionals that work in partnership with the patient care team in the development, modification, and implementation of the respiratory care plan.

The staff respiratory therapist/technician is responsible for the pulmonary care of those patients assigned to them. This care will include initiation and implementation of a pulmonary care plan, with the supervision of or in consultation with a physician. Aspects of care provided include assessments, diagnostics, treatment, education, and discharge planning.

Work schedule:

On-call/Casual, Night Shift

Required Qualifications:
