Total Care Therapy is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our growing team in Fairfield, OH. You will work with a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality, patient-centered care that helps residents improve mobility, independence and daily living skills.

Qualifications

• Current State Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Experience in geriatrics, home health, or assisted living is preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Provide skilled OT treatments under supervision of a licensed OT.
• Implement therapeutic activities to promote independence in ADLs and IADLs.
• Monitor progress and communicate changes to supervising OT.
• Document treatment notes in an EMR system.
• Educate residents and caregivers on safety, energy conservation, and independence.
