Job summary

Paycom in Southampton, PA is seeking an Outpatient Therapist to provide individual and family therapy to children and adolescents, with a dedicated caseload and clinical supervision. The role involves developing and implementing treatment plans, completing progress notes and documentation, coordinating care with psychiatrists, schools and other professionals, and participating in treatment-team activities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a mental-health-related field with child/adolescent practicum or internship.
• At least 1 year post-master’s paid clinical experience with children/adolescents.
• Training in evidence-based practices such as PCIT, TF-CBT or ESFT.
• Active Pennsylvania clinical license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and family therapy to an assigned caseload.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with clinical supervision.
• Complete treatment plans, progress notes, and other documentation.
• Coordinate care with psychiatrists, hospitals, schools, social workers, and other professionals.
• Participate in treatment-team meetings, court proceedings, and agency contacts when clinical expertise is needed.
• Assist with crisis consultation for staff and caregivers.
• Participate in discharge planning and review treatment goals.
• Educate caregivers, legal guardians, and staff about treatment interventions.
• Obtain/maintain managed-care authorization for services.
• Keep current with developments in diagnosis and treatment.
• Complete required trainings and maintain required licensure/certifications.
