Job summary

Bethanna is seeking an Outpatient Therapist to provide individual and family therapy for children and adolescents in our Southampton, PA office. You will develop treatment plans, document progress, and coordinate with a network of professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a mental-health-related field with supervised practicum, at least 1 year of post-master’s experience with youth, and familiarity with EBPs such as PCIT, TF-CBT, or ESFT.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a mental-health-related discipline with clinical practicum/internship experience with children and adolescents.
• Online degrees without direct clinical supervision are not accepted.
• At least 1 year of post-master’s paid clinical experience with children/adolescents.
• Training/proficiency in an agency-recognized Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) such as PCIT, TF-CBT, ESFT is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and family therapy to an assigned caseload.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with clinical supervision.
• Complete treatment plans, progress notes, clinical summaries and other documentation.
• Coordinate care with psychiatrists, partial hospitalization programs, schools and other professionals.
• Participate in treatment-team meetings, court proceedings and agency contacts as needed.
• Assist with crisis consultation for staff and caregivers.
• Participate in discharge planning and review treatment goals.
• Educate caregivers and staff about treatment interventions.
• Obtain/maintain managed-care authorization for services.

Salary: $50,000/year

Additional pay: $5 per session for evidence-based treatment

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 12 PM–8 PM; Friday 9 AM–5 PM is an option

Main responsibilities

• Provide individual and family therapy to an assigned caseload.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with clinical supervision.
• Complete treatment plans, progress notes, clinical summaries, and other documentation.
• Coordinate care with psychiatrists, partial hospitalization programs, schools, social workers, and other professionals.
• Participate in treatment-team meetings, court proceedings, and agency contacts when clinical expertise is needed.
• Assist with crisis consultation for staff and caregivers.
• Participate in discharge planning and review treatment goals.
• Educate caregivers, legal guardians, and staff about treatment interventions.
• Obtain/maintain managed-care authorization for services.
• Keep current with developments in diagnosis and treatment.
• Complete required trainings and maintain required licensure/certifications.

Qualifications: Minimum qualifications

The posting requires:

• Master’s degree in a mental-health-related discipline, such as:
• Clinical Psychology
• Mental Health Counseling
• Clinical Social Work
• Another clinically related field

The degree must include clinical practicum/internship experience with children and adolescents, with on-site supervision.

Online degrees without direct clinical supervision are not accepted.

At least 1 year of post-master’s paid clinical experience with children/adolescents.

Less than one year may require enhanced clinical supervision.

• Training/proficiency in an agency-recognized Evidence-Based Practice, such as:
• PCIT
• TF-CBT
• ESFT

Certification in an evidence-based practice is preferred.

Licensure

An active Pennsylvania clinical license is preferred but not required, including:

• LPC — Licensed Professional Counselor
• LCSW — Licensed Clinical Social Worker
• LMFT — Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, with child/adolescent experience
• Licensed Psychologist
