Job summary

Centerstone is seeking a licensed therapist to treat individuals with mental health and substance use disorders within a multi-disciplinary team. The position involves individual (and possibly family) therapy, comprehensive assessments, and treatment planning using evidence-based modalities.

You will work weekdays with no weekend/on-call obligations. Responsibilities include comprehensive documentation, risk assessment, and coordination with supervisors.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree is required in one of the listed fields.
• License-eligible in respective discipline preferred.
• Clinical experience required through practicum or internship.

Responsibilities

• Develop rapport with clients to build therapeutic relationship.
• Conduct provisional diagnostic assessments and risk assessments as needed.
• Complete documentation within 24 hours of sessions.
• Provide individual therapy and possibly family therapy for substance use issues.
• Develop, write, implement and revise treatment goals and plans.
• Apply empirically based modalities to treat mental health or substance use disorders.
• Maintain progress notes per agency guidelines.
• Respond to supervisory requests and cover caseloads as needed.
• Include telephonic and face-to-face interventions as required.
