Job summary

Soho Psychology in Downtown Manhattan seeks an LMSW or Mental Health Counselor to join our clinician-led private practice. The role supports hybrid or fully remote work with 5 days per week of client availability and HIPAA compliance.

Therapists provide an average of 23 clinical services weekly, maintain timely documentation, and receive regular supervision. Earn up to $60 per clinical session with flexible scheduling and W-2 status.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree (or graduating soon) in social work or related field.
• Active NYS LMSW license or MHC limited permit (or eligible soon).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and self-motivation.

Responsibilities

• Staff Therapists provide an average of 23 clinical services per week with a caseload around 28 clients.
• Daily completion of clinical documentation.

• Therapists generally receive one hour of individual supervision each week, with additional time available as needed.

• Additional group supervision opportunities are available based on interest.

Requirements:

• Master's Degree (or graduating soon)
• Active NYS LMSW license or MHC limited permit (or eligable soon)
• Availability to work with clients 5 days per week (hybrid or remote)
• Ability to work up to 6 hours per week after 5pm on weekdays
• Strong adherence to HIPAA regulations
• Must have a suitable, secure workspace at home to ensure privacy for tele-health.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong willingness and interest in receiving clinical and professional feedback
• Community oriented, committed to developing increased self-awareness, adaptability to changes in technology, procedures, and delivery of care

Responsibilities:

• Staff Therapists provide an average of 23 clinical services per week, which is typically achieved by maintaining a caseload of approximately 28 active clients. Therapists are welcome to see additional clients beyond this level should they wish to do so.
• Daily completion of clinical documentation.
• Receive and readily incorporate supervision feedback.
