Position Overview

Rivendell Behavioral Health Services, an 80-bed full-service behavioral healthcare facility in Benton, AR, has been providing quality mental health and addiction treatment since 1985. We are seeking a full-time outpatient therapist to join our multidisciplinary team, providing direct patient care including assessments, treatment planning, individual, group, and family psychotherapy, and discharge planning.

Responsibilities

• Conduct social assessments and formulate treatment plans.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy as needed.
• Develop discharge and continuing care plans.
• Interface with referral sources, community agencies, and healthcare facilities.
• Ensure compliance with quality care standards, Joint Commission, State Health Department, and other regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Counseling Psychology from an accredited university.
• Appropriate State Licensure (LMSW, LCSW, LAC, LPC, LPE) and maintenance thereof.
• Minimum of two years psychiatric treatment experience preferred, including individual, group, and family therapy.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and Arkansas laws related to adult services preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification (offered at facility).
• Current Handle with Care and Verbal De-escalation training (offered at facility).
