Job summary

Willow Springs Center seeks a licensed Therapist to provide clinical services in an inpatient program for youths 6–17. You will assess, plan, document progress, and contribute to discharge planning while delivering group, individual, and family therapy. Collaboration with community providers and crisis intervention are required.

We offer a $5000 sign-on bonus for full-time licensed therapists and opportunities for DBT training and ongoing professional development in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold licensure as LCSW, LCPC or MFT.
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or similar field.
• DBT training a plus; experience in psychiatric/mental health settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical services to patients in the Inpatient Program.
• Make assessments and create treatment plans; participate in interdisciplinary team.
• Document patient and family interactions and progress in charts.
• Engage in discharge planning activities.
• Provide group, individual and family therapy; collaborate with community providers.
• Respond to crises and address hostile behaviors per facility interventions.

Position Summary

The Therapist will provide clinical services to patients in our Inpatient Program. Therapists make assessments, create treatment plans, serve as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team and document in the patient chart interactions with patients and family as well as the patient's progress toward reaching treatment goals.

Therapists also engage in discharge planning activities. The Therapist provides group, individual and family therapy activities and collaborates with community providers, social service agencies and other therapeutic programs. Therapists are called upon to perform crisis intervention and to address hostile behaviors in accordance with facility approved interventions.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or similar field.

EXPERIENCE

A minimum of one year of clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health treatment setting preferred. DBT training a plus.

LICENSURE

Must possess licensure as an LCSW, LCPC or MFT . Candidate will be required to submit evidence of licensure at the time of interview.
