Job summary

Willow Springs Center in Reno, NV seeks a licensed Therapist for our Inpatient Program. You will perform assessments, develop treatment plans, participate on an interdisciplinary team, and document patient progress in charts.

The role includes group, individual, and family therapy, discharge planning, crisis intervention, and collaboration with community providers. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered for full-time licensed therapists.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in psychiatric/mental health settings; DBT training a plus.
• Licensed as an LCSW, LCPC or MFT; licensure evidence required at interview.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Therapist will provide clinical services to patients in our Inpatient Program. Therapists make assessments, create treatment plans, serve as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team and document in the patient chart interactions with patients and family as well as the patient's progress toward reaching treatment goals.

Therapists also engage in discharge planning activities. The Therapist provides group, individual and family therapy activities and collaborates with community providers, social service agencies and other therapeutic programs. Therapists are called upon to perform crisis intervention and to address hostile behaviors in accordance with facility approved interventions.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or similar field.

EXPERIENCE

A minimum of one year of clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health treatment setting preferred. DBT training a plus.

LICENSURE

Must possess licensure as an LCSW, LCPC or MFT . Candidate will be required to submit evidence of licensure at the time of interview.
