AdvantageCare Rehab in Scott Township, PA is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide PRN coverage, helping patients regain independence through evidence-based, client-centered interventions tailored to daily living activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active state license (or eligibility) as an Occupational Therapist.
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• A patient-first mindset with a drive to make meaningful, lasting change.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, emotional, and environmental barriers to function.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on ADLs, upper extremity strength/mobility, cognition, and adaptive skills.
• Provide hands-on therapy interventions to restore independence and promote safety.
• Recommend and train on assistive devices, adaptive techniques, and environmental modifications.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support whole-person care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on techniques for long-term success at home and in the community.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, progress, and discharge plans accurately and in a timely manner.
