Job summary

Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin & Upper Michigan (LSS) is hiring a full-time Therapist In Training for our Beloit outpatient mental health team. This role supports clinicians working toward independent licensure with strong supervision, trauma-informed care, and meaningful opportunities to serve DOC-involved and community populations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a behavioral health field is required.
• Practicum experience in mental health, substance use, or community-based services.
• Eligible for or currently holding a Wisconsin In Training license (APSW / LPC-IT / MFT-IT).
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and evaluations.
• Develop collaborative treatment plans.
• Provide individual psychotherapy and counseling services.
• Deliver psychoeducation and skill-building interventions.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation.
• Participate in treatment team and recovery team meetings.
• Collaborate with community partners and referral sources.
• Engage in ongoing clinical supervision and professional development.
• Utilize trauma-informed, person-centered, and evidence-based practices.

Education

Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related behavioral health field

Wisconsin In Training license eligibility (APSW / LPC-IT / MFT-IT)
