Job summary

Lutheran Social Services of WI and Upper MI (LSS) is seeking a Therapist in Training to join the Family Preservation Team, serving children, youth, and adults in Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) throughout Taylor, Price, and Sawyer Counties.

This full-time, benefit-eligible position offers in-home therapy opportunities and a flexible schedule, enabling you to balance client needs with professional goals. Travel within assigned counties is required; hybrid-remote work is supported.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, MFT, or related field.
• Practicum experience relevant to LSS services.
• Eligibility for a WI “in training” license (APSW, MFT, or LPC).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic services to individuals and/or families based on assigned programs.
• Collaborate with clients to create goal-focused, individualized service plans.
• Deliver services in a variety of settings, including office, community, or client-preferred locations.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation per agency and funding requirements.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary team members and community partners.

What You’ll Do
