Lutheran Social Services (LSS) is seeking a Therapist in Training to join our Family Preservation Team serving clients in Taylor, Price, and Sawyer Counties. You’ll provide in-home therapy, build strong relationships, and support clients toward goals using strength-based, evidence-based practices.

The role is full-time with flexible scheduling, allowing daytime or evening hours to fit client needs while supporting your professional growth and licensure goals.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field
• Practicum experience relevant to LSS services
• Eligibility for WI in-training license (APSW, MFT, or LPC)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Proficient with Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic services to individuals and/or families based on assigned programs
• Collaborate with clients to create goal-focused, individualized service plans
• Deliver services in office, community, or client-preferred locations
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation per agency and funding requirements
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary team members and community partners
