Job summary

St. Anne’s Family Services in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a Therapist to provide comprehensive mental health services within a STRTP setting. You will participate in an interdisciplinary team to ensure a healthy, therapeutic, and safe environment for program participants and families.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling, and strong clinical skills in individual, family, and group therapy. Bilingual Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive comprehensive individual, family, play, and group therapy for the designated caseload.
• Coordinate linkage to intra-agency and community resources, including psychiatric needs and ICC.
• Document client services per DMH standards and STRTP regulations.
• Conduct visits to homes, schools or other service providers to facilitate service plan goals.
• Maintain monthly service provision requirements.

The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.About the Program: Residential Treatment Program (STRTP): This short-term residential therapeutic program provides services to pregnant, parenting, and at-risk young women (and their children) ages 13-18 in the foster care and/or juvenile justice system. These youth are typically placed by the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) or Probation Department.Role Summary: Responsible for providing comprehensive mental health services to ensure quality client care. Ensure documentation adheres to DMH standards. Participate in an interdisciplinary team to provide a healthy, therapeutic, and safe environment for program participants.Schedule: (9/80 work schedule)Monday: 12:00PM - 9:00PMTuesday: 10:00AM - 7:00PMWednesday: 7:00AM - 4:00PMThursday: 10:00AM - 7:00PMFriday: 10:00AM - 6:00PM (RDO - Rotating Day Off every other week!)Location: 155 N Occidental Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90026Work Location Requirement: Based on operational needs, employees may be assigned to work at either 155 N. Occidental Blvd or the I-STRTP location at 134 N. Occidental Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90026, located across the street. Flexibility to work at either site is required.Duties and Responsibilities:Provide intensive comprehensive individual, family, play, and group therapy for designated caseload of program participants.Coordinate linkage to appropriate intra-agency and community resources, including coordination of client’s psychiatric needs and Intensive Care Coordination Services (ICC).Document client services in accordance with Department of Mental Health standards and STRTP regulations.Conduct visits to homes, schools and or other service providers to assist program participant to achieve their service plan goals.Manage community and family crises involving children and parents.Evaluate parent/child/family progress and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.Interface with Department of Children and Family Services, Department of Mental Health, court systems, schools, law enforcement, health care providers and other community liaisons as needed.Assist with the development and or/facilitate Child and Family Team (CFT) meetings, which includes multi-disciplinary professionals, the child and family, extended family members, and informal community supports, while aligning with the Integrated Share Core Practice Model.Maintain monthly service provision requirements.QualificationsA minimum of a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling is required.Experience in In-Home Services or work with adolescents preferred.Strong clinical skills in individual, family and group therapy required.Bilingual skills in Spanish preferred.Must possess and maintain a valid California Driver’s License and a driving record acceptable to the agency’s insurance carrier.St. Anne's Family Services is an equal opportunity employer and encourages candidates from all backgrounds to apply
