Job summary

Banyan Treatment Centers is seeking a Therapist I - CADC for our Gilman, Illinois location. This on-site role targets clinicians with an active CADC credential to build a caseload, provide recovery-focused services, and grow toward advanced licensure within a supportive team.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a related field and CADC certification; Master’s candidates encouraged. The position offers comprehensive benefits and structured supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or another related human services field, combined with an active CADC certification in Illinois, required (Master's-level candidates also encouraged to apply)
• Knowledge of state and federal patient confidentiality regulations
• Familiarity with ASAM criteria and clinical documentation requirements
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems (Kipu preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide meaningful, recovery-focused clinical services to patients during critical stages of treatment
• Build and manage a caseload with regular clinical supervision and support
• Collaborate with experienced clinicians, medical providers, and interdisciplinary treatment teams
• Play a key role in treatment planning, family engagement, and continuity of care
• Access ongoing training, supervision, and a clear path toward advanced licensure
