Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong understanding of professional boundaries in a therapeutic environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay calm and supportive in a fast-paced setting.
• Comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field.
• Preferred: 1+ year in substance use or mental health settings.
• Preferred: CADC/CAP or related certifications.
• Lived recovery experience is valued.

Responsibilities

• Foster a positive, therapeutic environment by engaging with clients and modeling healthy behaviors.
• Provide non-clinical support and connect clients with licensed therapists as needed.
• Keep clients on track with encouragement and reminders.
• Co-facilitate psychoeducational and support groups with licensed clinicians.
• Act as a link between therapists, the clinical team, and outside providers.
• Shadow clinical staff to deepen understanding of approaches and structure.
• Assist with scribing during sessions and maintain client documentation under supervision.
• Prepare session materials and organize client case files.
• Enter non-clinical data into the EHR and handle general admin tasks.
