Job summary

Columbia Mental Health, a Transformations Care Network member in Virginia, seeks licensed therapists to provide outpatient and family therapy with a collaborative clinical team. You will conduct assessments, develop safety and wellness plans, and participate in care planning while ensuring timely documentation and billing.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or related field.
• Provisional license per state regulation, if required.
• Educational background leading to professional licensing.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families.
• Provide outpatient individual and family therapy tailored to client needs.
• Develop crisis, safety, relapse, and wellness plans for clients.
• Participate in case consultations, meetings, and discharge planning.
• Complete billing, documentation, and insurance authorization forms timely.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, and staff.
